The Hellrats have had their snouts in the public purse and sent us unto debt that Victorians will be paying off for generations and they are still after more...Ted the Toff understood this and had the decency to try and not make it any worse on working class Victorians who are asked to pay a bill they themselves will never profit from...And you want the Greens or ALP back  in this state building more desal plants and wind farms on our tab?

I would think Victoria's economic position would relate more to its being a manufacturing state, the almost total absence of any mining apart from a bit of brown coal and the strength of the dollar, rather than whatever colour of govt they have.

For the last two years and three months the late Edward Norman Baillieu had let us know that EVERYTHING that was wrong with Victoria was caused by the Bracks and Brumby Governments

Today, the new/old Premier Naphthalene let us know that everything that WILL be wrong with Victoria - over the next year and nine months - will have been caused by the Rudd and Gillard Governments

Vote 1 Greens

You and nail just can't wait to tie the knot.

Regarding the topic, blaming any state government for the state going into recession is a waste of time. Under labor, greens, anyone, it would be the same result (as I believe SA, ACT, Tas are all in the same situation). However, this thread is not a complete waste. Instead, it is a perfect example of the mentality of today's selfish and clueless generation;

Don't go into a shop and buy something manufactured in Australia. Instead, go online and buy a cheap item made overseas and then cheer every time an Australian business goes under. Once finished cheering over the closer of yet another Australian business, go online and complain that the state is in recession.

Mental as bugger I tells ya.

Vote Greens for a sustainable future, a viable economy & to protect your rights.

Also - I am not now nor have I ever been a homosexual.

Remember - Bob the homo Brown is not running the Greens anymore -
so you can't use that excuse to say "I won't vote Green".

Also again - you know that it's greedy landlords that have closed
down the retail businesses here not the internet.
Don't be so dishonest about your opponents arguments.

Quantum - arguing with you is like shooting fish in a barrel.

So what's made in australia these days ?

And regarding buying online I recently rang up a local mob to buy a certain item for which they were the so called distributor. Yep they said I had to buy it from their resellers but their resellers didn't stock the item and would have to order it in. The usual BS story Sad

So i hop online and find out the street price in the US was half the price here in australia. Go figure !! Not only that even after the postage it was still cheaper than buying it here. Needless to say I didn't waste another second and ordered online !!
