"I think I am getting it. You weren't answering another poster but meant forum "Fishwife" ???

See how some punctuation helps the reader get the meaning quickly. . .

Another thing I hadn't understood. I thought that you had run MY sentence through a check not your "fishwife" one.

Anyway, I'm sure the Asians speak and write English better than our uni graduates![/quote  "

I  know you are elderly and possibly easily confused.  Also, the way threads 'flow' can be confusing itself.  Hopefully the lesson you have learnt from all this is that the remaining years of your life should not be spent correcting people for their grammar and/or spelling.  Especially when you yourself make similar mistakes.

In your remaining years try and accept that life has moved on and enjoy yourself.  Try to take a balanced view of things rather than ingesting the ramblings of Jones, Bolt, Laws et al.   Politicians of all persuasions are after one thing and one thing only - your vote.  The trick is to pick the one that suits YOUR needs be they Labor, Liberal, Green or Independant.    Choose wisely

I don't know your age, mate, but I know your posts are a mess of allegorical confusion.

I am a writer as well as a reader, old, but still far advanced on the present generation, that's because teachers of old knew how to teach and I was never satisfied with my knowledge but tried to improve.

Yes, I probably rated you higher than you deserved.

So far, I've misunderstood everything you have written because of the way it was presented.

You had me concluding that you'd had some site testing MY text and giving it the all clear.

Ahhh yes, rose coloured glasses time.

I can't' forget those halcyon days when my home loan went up 1% a month under Keating, getting to 18% f.....g per cent.

That arse almost cost me my home. He is a deadsh.t personified and his disgusting behaviour when media try to interview him is disgraceful

In short he is a freaking pig, and was a poo of a P.M.

Had to laugh though, in 'what goes round comes round'. There was a group  of media waiting at the arrivals lounge at the airport not long ago. Keating got off and started to do his usual snarling, swearing routine, the funny part was they bypassed him, they were there to interview someone important. Talk about fall down funny!

Home loans did the same thing under howard except worse!

SOB

they did not, you brainless twit! home loans maxed out at 13.5% and everybody knows it except you - the idiot who flew with Howard in an F1-11

Awww poor troll had nothing to add to the discussion . . .

Note to all Pubketeers:  This post isn’t by me, it’s by Vote1Julia. It appears under my name only as a sponsored post.

It contains some great ideas and is 100% appropriate for today, the anniversary of Keating’s amazing victory in 1993.

Enjoy…

[...]

My joy would be unbounded if I was filthy rich (I mean mega bucks). I would buy all the real estate I could that was close to Hawke and Keating. I would move as many African families into those houses. I would also go to Telopea Street Punchbowl and bribe all those beautiful muslim families with offers of free housing for 2 years. They would make lovely neighbours for Hawke and Keating. I would offer the same deal to those lovely Vietnamese "chemical stimulant" dealers at Cabramatta. We would then see if Hawke and Keating still believe that multiculturalism  "enriches the Australian way of life".

Very good point.

Notice how all those people who supported bringing in culturally unsuitable people since end of WW2 to today never take any of these people in themselves or never live in suburbs where they are?

I recall a couple of years ago going up to Fitzroy and using a tower block dead end to turn around.
Good God, all I saw was Africans (Somalis and Sudanese) just sat around.
Middle of the day, young men not working.
Just bleeding our country dry.

What a failure multi culturalism is and our politicians must take the blame.

Champagne socialists. Like the idea but never feel the consequences.

They came in boats you know, many we subsidised, those were the days when we were paying for boat people to come here and then providing accomidation etc.

I asked my mate Vasantha (a Sri Lankan) what he thought of all those leaving and going to Australia and Canada?

" Fine. We don't want them. Those ones are scum. They are losers and they pretend to be victims. They will ruin your country, Sri Lanka is better without these Tamil scum."

Note the culturally unsuitable?

All your institutions and customs are ours you clown.

If you think those East Africans are as culturally suitable as English to Australia you need your head read.

How come the UK migrants mingle well and the Africans head to straight for their own enclave of other Africans and don't mingle into Australian society???

Sounds like he is part of the reason they need to escape, like the government there he thinks all Tamils are skum in a Nation which are known to treat the Tamil population in a substandard manner.

Not so. I have noticed several Africans in the Blacktown area during the middle of the day just sitting around. I asked them why they were sitting around and they told me they were exhausted after looking for a job. They just needed a 30 minute break and their search for job would start all over again.

It was a very uplifting moment Embarrassed Roll Eyes Shocked Grin Wink
