What was it like? I have never been on the F111 ride myself. I would like to know what it was like.
Loud.
Dunno if you have ever ridden in one of those lil hazelton planes where you ride up with the pilot? Its not like that. Seriously there isnt much to say and since i dont even like you ppl im not really motivated to describe the feelings etc.

My goodness. That's like someone asking
"what was it like to drive an F1 car?" and the response being;
"Have you ever driven a Commodore? Will it is nothing like that.... and that's all I am going to say" Quote:Seriously there isnt much to say and since i dont even like you ppl im not really motivated to describe the feelings etc.
How about the process? Surely you can describe that easily without too much effort?
* Did you have paperwork to fill out?
* How long before the actual flight were you booked in to do it? (hours? days? weeks?)
* What security checks did you have to have?
* How much class work was there before the flight? (such as safety explanations, what not to do, etc)
* What was the procedures when you arrived at the base? (such as gate clearance entering the base, what buildings they took you to before the flight, etc)
* did you have to do any physical training, or have any medical checks?
* what equipment did you need to have and how much did they teach you about it before the flight?
* what instructions were you given as to how to enter and exit the cockpit?
None of this is personal stuff. It is just explaining the procedures someone must go through before they fly in a F111 (or any other military aircraft). Surely you can fill us in on these points?
