2. The F111 cost many thousands of dollars for every hour of flight and they try to not waste flighing hours.

3. A navigatpr has to be talked out of their seat to allow a non-aircrew to sit in it.

So what do you reckon a nuffy civilian would get to 'sand bag' in an F111?

Civilians have flown and service ppl have flown.

It is extremely rare for any civilian to get a flight in a military aircraft that is fitted with high security equiment, observing it's operation and application.

I have never heard of any civilian outside of the DoD or parliment even coming close to a flight; even "Bomber" beasley didn't get a flight when he 'asked'.

But once again, just scan your certificate and all will be resolved.

As for service personnel, yes they have, it's what they do for a living in most cases.

Yeah he was way too fat and was denied his flight, but they still had to let him sit in it and get his photo for the papers.

as minister for defence it was a reasonable request. but not surprised he couldnt fit. when the alp caucus flew they had to balance the plane with Richardson, robert ray and Beazely. 200kg a person
