And everyone that knows better, myself included, says you're full of poo. Up to you to prove we're wrong since you made such a ridiculous claim. Barring your wife giving the squadron commander a blow job so good he'd be willing to throw his career in the toilet over it there simply isn't a plausible explanation.

Yes ONLY maintainers work on them and you had every opportunity to rectify the misunderstanding from the initial lie, but you didn't.

And Im not being everly semantic, just being accurate.

You seem to know very little about how the RAAF is structured, but that is to be expected under the circumstances.

Spot, there are very few people that "work" on military aircrat, flight crew, personnel involved with aspects of maintaining the aircraft, and ordinance personnel responsible for loading weapons aboard the aircraft. So if your wife wasn't aircrew and wasn't a maintainer then she was ordinance which would make it even less likely you'd have flown.

How about you stop wasting our time and either explain the circumstances that lead to you supposedly flying in an F-111 or just admit you're bullshitting.

In the RAAF, armourers load ordinance, we don't have that many personnel that allows that level of specialisation.  Smiley

As an armourer you do everything from depot level maintenance, to aircraft flight-line duties and ordinance prep, load and if needed EOD.

You actually asked that! My goodness.

What's the record for posts in a single thread on this forum? Whatever it is, you just assured that it will soon be challenged with such ignorance.

My point (which you obviously didnt get that time although usually you just ignore it) is that i havent offered any explanations. Thats just more assumptions.

Thank you. That's what everyone has been asking;

"there simply isn't a plausible explanation"... (for how you could fly on a F-111)

"explanation for what?"... (as to how you got a flight on a F-111)

"I haven't offered an explanation"... (No shlt!)

So... How did you of all people get taken for a flight on a F-111?

My guess is Spot lurked at the squadron's favorite pub in drag. There he laid wait for the entire operations shop to get hammered enough to think Spot in a wig and skirt was an attractive lady. During the ensuing sexual depravity that followed Spot managed to get the XO's id card (and on hell of a case of crabs). Spot then cleaned seven quarts of air force issue man gravy off before disguising himself as the XO where he proceded to order a Pig ready. Despite saluting with the wrong hand, walking like a jack up civilian dirtbag, and accidently addressing the corporal of the guard as sir, Spot somehow infiltrated all the way to the hanger before aaintainer hit him over the head with a pipe wrench.

While heavilly concussed Spot then hallucinated he was flying, when in fact he was in an abulance.

The XO still has crabs.

I've never been quite sure on the ability or legality of a US President committing US Forces without the approval of Congress.

Depends on the amount of force the president wants to uee and what operational goals he has in mind, but generlly the president can use military force for up to sixty days without congressional approval. That why most of what we do is either short duration or gets tacked on to an existing UN or NATO operation. Also depends on if congress decides to take issue with it, but they rarely do, especially if ground combat involvement is kept below divisional strength. Using the Air Force or Navy to bitchslap someone won't even get a raised eyebrow.

How did Clinton get away with getting the US in Yugoslavia?
He did it without Congress and they were there a sh*tliad more than 60 days?
Didn't they also refuse to have any reporting structure than US Military despite being a multi national force?

Just wondering how Bill got away with that one.

Small scale operation run under the guise of working with our partners in NATO with solid public support for it here in the US. If the Republicans in congress had tried to stop it they would gotten plastered in the media by Democrats spinning opposition to operations over there as supporting genocide. Turns out you can get away with a lot of stuff when you've got political support, a fact the last twelve years of US foreign policy should have made obvious.

now THAT is so far the most likely explanation for SOB's supposed flight

Clinton was unique.

Last year the Union Tribune here ran a question to 2,000 San Diegans who, if given a choice would they want back to run the country of anyone :

1. Kennedy
2. Reagan
3. Clinton

Bill made top 3.

The bottom was -

W was worst followed by Carter and then Ford.

I imagine the response here may be mirrored nationally.
Though I think history will be kinder to Bush Jnr in time.

No you are being overly semantic. Pilots, navs, techs of different sorts, maintenance of different sorts, all these work on an f111.
