Correct, however here lets get back to your comment

"It is compulsory for Aussie citizens to vote"

Now you agree now that you made this comment and had no idea that Australians overseas are not required to vote.
Yes?

Nope. You said you gave up your right to vote in australia by registering to vote in uk. That is different because it is more permanent. Most aussies overse4as do the mail-in vote thing.

SOB

Spot my friend you said

"It is compulsory for Aussie citizens to vote"

Were you correct or were you wrong?

I am correct but i dont know what an aec page is. Did you fail to provide a link to something? It doesnt matter because you are playing silly buggers now and trying to make some semantic point when it is compulsory for aussie citizens to vote. It may be that you dont *have* to vote while overseas but nobody is going to consider you australian if you give up your right to vote permanently as you did.

THE AUSTRALIAN ELECTORAL COMMISSION (I/E THE GOVERNMENT) state in their information page in the website I fking gave you -

"Australian citizens overseas do not have to vote".

Now, you fricken moron, you can retract your claim (unfounded as per always) that Aussie citizens have to vote.

Some do not have to vote.

This whole "I don't know what an AEC page is" pretty much sums up how informed you are.

Spot, you seriously seem to know bugger all about bugger all - then make comments without having any idea.

This is just one of many where you're proved wrong.

I can't believe you are above the age of 50, seriously. You have the knowledge of someone 12.

And so - instead of making it a link you paste? What a troll you are.

I said before that australian citizens have to vote however some may not have to vote while they are overseas. Read back.

HOWEVER you have given up your right to vote and so you shouldn't be considered australian and you do not have the right to comment on aussie politics and expect anyone to listen.

Bullsh1t!

For a start no Australian has the right to vote, so they are giving up nothing.

Those Australians who meet the criteria, are forced to vote by the government, it's been this way since the 1920's

As for not being 'considered and Australian',  doing what you are told, when you are told, how you are told by the government, doesn't make you Australian it makes you a sheep.
