This issue would be a non-issue if Rudd hadn't axed the Pacific Solution policy, which was clearly working. Gillard made things much worse by going from one position to another. The current policy is a shambles and designed to fail. What is needed is a return to temporary protection visas. These visas are essential to deter these people who come by boat and are effective as they do not allow for permanent residency in the end.

And there is specualtion this idiot might be coming back. Geezuz labor have got a pool of no-hopers for PM.
