Insurance costs have gone through the roof in the past 5 or 6 years. I cant believe you dont see that.

Quite amazing when compared to other historically high periods since we have much greater disaster prevention systems now days (dams, levies, housing codes, etc).  You'd expect with these improvements in infrastructure that costs would be lowering over time.

This coupled with the increase in premiums and insurance companies now excluding higher risk clients, as a way to reduce payouts (costs), its even more amazing that costs arent lowering.
