Gillard need to shut down leadership debate
Mar 20th, 2013 at 11:53pm

Just over 12 months ago - leadership speculation  was rife.

Gillard had to call a leadership ballot to get rid of the Rudd acne on her behind.

She didn't squeeze it all out. Now the speculation have come back to haunt her again.

Voters are not listening

Caucus is not focusing on good policies but rather spending it's time counting votes.

She called the spill knowing Rudd was gaining momentum.

Rudd is now gaining momentum.

The last time the Foreign Minister was overseas when she called the leadership ballot

The Foreign Minister is now overseas - let history repeat itself.

the fact that she's holding out may suggest one of two things:

1. Either they are all waiting for the 4 media reforms to be voted down or
2. she hasn't got the numbers.

She showed us all how bad her judgement was when she didn't sack Rudd back to the backbenches.

Is she gone/will Rudd run?

She will look pretty silly if no-one runs against her.

If she doesn't call it tonight is say she's lost the numbers.

Asked if Crean thinks Rudd will win

Crean replied that he wouldn't be doing this if he didn't think there would be support

I think he is doing it to force others to follow and hopes in hell they do. He is putting himself on the line. I dont think rudd has the numbers, but im sure there are some still umming and arring.
