I'm talking about the apology itself.

This crap about requiring it to be able to heal is garbage.

This government, for that matter any government after about 75 have nothing to do with these decisions so shouldn't have to say squat.

You need an apology, fine hunt down those actually responsible.

This rehashing of past wrongs is the disease that afflicts Europe & the Middle East, bitching & moaning about poo that happened, sometimes 100's of years ago.

Build a bridge, move on Angry

*applauds*. demanding apologies from people who didnt do 'it' by people 'it' wasn't done to is about as pointless as it gets. Worse it gives some the belief that something important has happened, when in fact, nothing took place at all.

as usual, the boards atheist in Christian clothes comes to the support of state atheism and its crimes against the people...no amount of rivers of blood and human misery inflicted by them will change his rock solid defense of evil... Roll Eyes

thats where that complex notion of 'free will' comes in. If God were to intervene in every decision man makes then free-will would not exist

How many parents have sat back and watched their kids make a mess of things and then refused to bail them out - not from malevolence but quite the reverse; an act of tough love that teaches something better.

like most short pithy sayings, your quote is as worthless as the rest of them.

Somehow forcing a child into part time work to payback a debt, or watching them eat crow as they apologise is totally different to allowing 5 million people starve to death just because they were born in Africa.

Where is their free will?

Where is their free will?

why is africa poor? the continent has more natural resources than Australia which is basically a desert with some nice bits around the coast. we CHOSE as a nation to succeed. Africa as a continent has chosen to fight each other, embrace racism and a culture of failure. that was their FREE choice and as unfair as it sounds to you, their descendants pay the price just as we are reaping the rewards. it might eeem unfair and perhaps to a large degree, it is. But free will has a price. A free will system where God picks up on all the failures is not free will.

its not an easy question but it remains intrinsically true that all the poverty, unfairness and crime in the world is out own fault.

Are you calling Jesus a Liar again and denying God yet again...Jesius demands you give everything you have to the poor, he demands you give them shelter, dignified work, food, clothing, shelter, mony, sanctuary...he does not asign responsibility onto the poor, he assigns itonto the richand those with the guns...the Government atheists...you deny christ with every word you say yet try to deceptively speak in his name...  Cool

Longweekend claims he is a Christian, but he calls God the Father, God the Son, the Bible and the Pope a liar with regards to the debt he owes the poor... Cool
