Rudd - no challenge under ANY circumstance
Mar 22nd, 2013 at 11:04am

http://au.news.yahoo.com/election/a/-/article/16421529/labor-in-crisis-cabinet-p...

UPDATE 11.30 Kevin Rudd says there are now "no circumstances" under which he would return to the Labor leadership.

Mr Rudd says he had been consistent that he would not challenge for the leadership and that he would contest the next election as a local member of parliament.

"That position hasn't changed," a spokesman told AAP.

"Furthermore, Mr Rudd wishes to make 100 per cent clear to all members of the parliamentary Labor Party, including his own supporters, that there are no circumstances under which he will return to the Labor Party leadership in the future."

http://www.kevinruddmp.com/2013/03/statement-from-spokesperson-for-hon.html

Mr Rudd has said consistently over the last 12 months that he would not challenge for the Labor leadership and that he would contest the next election as a local member of Parliament at the next election. That position has not changed.

Furthermore, Mr Rudd wishes to make 100 per cent clear to all members of the parliamentary Labor Party, including his own supporters, that there are no circumstances under which he will return to the Labor Party leadership in the future.

A spokesman said, blah blah blah. Well Rudd himself said yesterday that he would return to the leadership if he had the overwhelming majority of support. So who do you believe maqqa? A faceless "spokesman" or Rudd?

This is beyond absurd now.

Can we all just stop talking about leadership, and realise that we are going to the election with Abbott and Gillard?

PLEASE.

I saw her on ABC24 yesterday maqqa, and boy did she look rattled.

I lost count of how many times she said "Progressive voters" and "vote Greens".

The Greens are going nowhere but down.

Another thread? Too much common sense in your other threads? Rudd has always been saying that.

Just admit you are stupid and/or not up to date

Just before Caucus yesterday - Rudd said he would only challenge if he was drafted or if the numbers are overwhelming.

Today - he's changed that tune.

He's now ruled out that he will never return to the leadership

I play on the egos

The human egos (I use it loosely when referring to leftwards) is fragile.

It will irrationally sacrifice itself despite the benefits going the other way
