Those glasses are magic glasses, when she looks through them she sees an Australian public that adores her and a treasure trove of fantastic labor policy that everyone loves  Grin

If that poll is legit which i doubt then it shows aussies are stupid. Since i doubt that many aussies are stupid it must be the ppl taking the polls. They must have polled 1000 murdoch employees or something.

You would be wrong - as usual. This one is more obvious than most though agenda-wise.

They are in for a surprise.

I'm surprised the 2PP vote hasn't fallen more.

All the polls are lying mate.
As you said yesterday the situation is really quite good for Labor and Abbott is on the ropes now.

Don't worry about these polls.
You know better. These folks are in for a shock when Gillard wins eh?

The fact that 71% believe the actions of 100 Labor Caucus members have damaged the Office of the PM is not worthy of comment from the left?

Those on the left have known for some time the destabilising influence of K. Rudd. It's why we are looking forward to a bit of clear air.

Clear air?
Did you see the statements the very next day of senior Labor guys on resigning?
I can post them if you like?

There's about as much clear air as we have at the foot of our drilling rigs.

Is that why Rudd now dubbed his successor as Bowen - who incidentally quit the executive as well

Rudd said he'll be a future PM - which means:

(1) He'll challenge before the election
(2) He'll challenge after the election

So which one is it that cleared the air?

bugger, I hate to agree with maqqa but he could be onto something. Someone like Bowen could well be considered as a reasonable  compromise by Gillard supporters when their primary hits the 20s. I just can't believe the buggers are willing to give up their careers to keep Gillard in office. While I think Gillard has been given a totally unreasonable time it is clear the mud has stuck and she has no chance, what the bugger is wrong with that caucus?

What I got from labor and a bit from motr is that they think because they can give the perception of labor being stable, then all else if forgotten. It isnt going to happen.

They are tying to be upbeat and ignore the obvious (that the people just dont want gillard).
