Labor hanging in - correction was hanging in
Mar 25th, 2013 at 7:39pm

Despite the worst week imaginable, Labor stays in touch with plenty of time to go.

If Rudd can keep his ego in touch, Gillard can still corner Abbott.

http://essentialvision.com.au/category/essentialreport

Labor holds ground 56 - 44.

With the likes of Chrissy Pyne and Maqqa trying to circumvent a real debate on policy, it looks like they've got zero faith in Abbott nailing this on his own performance.

Can't say I blame them. If I was them, I'd be worried about Gillard towelling him up as well.

The score and Labor "hanging" are the only accurate things from your post. From this day forth you shall be known as "Comical Ali", after your Iraqi namesake from the Gulf War and his absurd/comical press conferences!!!

There has never been creatures as smug as born to rule conservatives who get a whiff of power.

I got into trouble for using Essential Research so you should not use the same source.

The ALP, the progressive party, the party of ideas, the workers' friend, is the only Australian political party to roast four young Australians in roof cavities. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

I was expecting Labor to lose at least a couple of percentage points. They haven't. They are hanging in.

Yeah? Look at the Greens and what they did once they got some power with their crazy carbon tax and zero revenue mining tax. Look at the Independents. They said they chose Labor for stability and we've been given anything but stability!

Labor stay in touch.. lmao.. now that's funny. When i turned on the TV after work today, i was flicking channels and i seen two politicians one from Labor and another from Liberal, from the questions being ask by the host you could see the Labor bloke turning red in front of my eyes. meanwhile flashing news alert at the bottom of the screen, "Boat tips over on its way to Christmas Island killing a woman in her 30's and also killing a child.

Isnt it amazing how out of touch labor are, its just pathetic. But to have their lame arse supporters saying and feeling the same crap. Now thats just sad.

Labor think they can rip themselves apart in an embarrassing public display, dust themselves off and say 'nothing to see here, we are all clean, no shite on me. We are good to go and all love each other'

Give me a bldy puke bucket please.

Exactly, progs, was certainly expecting a drop in the polls.

If Labor can hold the gap, getting the Rudd distraction out of the way could be beneficial in the long run.

Labor have their rusted on just like the greens and you would have to say liberals do too. The primary has been around the 30% mark for a while, so I dont see sitting at the bottom of the pond with no air as anything to feel good about.

Why would we want to do anything when we are ahead 56/44?
