Not really sure why you'll jump on the 0-700m data without question and then completely dismiss 0-2000m data that has 50% of the coverage. What do the rising sea levels tell you, progs. What does the physics tell us. The chances of the oceans not warming are so remote you'd be a mug to bet against it.

Because of the questions I ask of you that you couldnt answer. There simply isnt any level of confidence to take out of that 50%, what ever it is 50% of. In the context of the greatest challenge......

I also stated that the 0-700 isnt even reliable enough. Not enough monitors per spread or global cover.

First concensus of the people to go down the path of total life style control because the decision warrants it. Either way it goes, the decision can atleast be swallowed better than coming from a dictator.

You have already wasted 17 years when the atmospheric temps stayed steady.

So, progs, how have you come to the conclusion that there is not enough data to accurately assess the trend in ocean temperatures.

It's ironic that the cherry picked data used by some to argue the case for a medieval warming period warmer than today, is a small fraction of the data we have on current ocean temperatures.

How do you explain rising sea levels if not from thermal expansion?

And another thing, progs, pricing carbon early is the best way to avoid draconian actions that will result in loss of individual control.

What you forget is that we are living with a price on carbon and our lives have not changed dramatically. We know it's not about total lifestyle control. Industry and business will change, but that is expected with progress.

Further, progs, before Abbott introduces the Libs next version of work choices, will you label him a dictator if he doesn't first form a citizens assembly. Did we need a citizens assembly before the GST was introduced.

At the last two elections the majority of Australians voted for parliamentarians that advocated a price on carbon. This is exactly what Gillard will deliver in 2015. Until then, due to the constraints of a minority government, we make do with a carbon tax.

This is not dictatorship, progs.
