Bobby I think there is already a rule about posting multiple threads on the same topic. Check the pinned threads on politicians suck.

Hi FD

Is there a reason why there are so few threads on the list. Couldnt it go from 18 (I think it is now) to something like 30?

I'm NOT in favour of blanket limits, but some of the worst offenders do need to be 'pulled up' over it.

And yes, Maqqa and DRAH do come to mind.

I had no problem with it when Longy was combining multiple threads.

It looks like my idea is not accepted?

I still believe it would be great with this election coming up.

Imagine Maqqa during an election campaign!
Do you think he'll exceed 20 new threads a day?

Hi Aussie,

because FD doesn't seem to worry too much about it.

We'll see what happens when the election gets closer.

I like to think that people start a thread in order to have a discussion
or at the very least to inform others.

This implies that they will follow their own thread &
attempt to answer all reasonable questions put forward to them.

It also means that they are prepared to argue any point in depth
& not stray off the topic.

Spamming the boards is entirely different in that none of the above will happen.
Ozpolitic's should not be a platform for spammers & cranks.

Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds coming from you? When nearly every thread you and your boy friend make follow the same pattern of...

"um, here is a YouTube video. proves everything. now bugger off"

...your cries for reason aren't going to be taken seriously. Neither you or Nail have ever wanted a "discussion" on anything. Clean up your own thread making and your argument might have weight.

Quantum,
you're one of the biggest trolls on Ozpolitics - so you can't talk.

Whenever you're proven wrong you accuse the winner of homosexuality.

well unless quantum is trolling under a different name.. I can honestly say I hardly ever see him...

you guys seem to have problems only with libs I find that interesting.. I have been off the net for about 10 days once again thanks to telstra...that wonderful communications business that seems to be in the business of keeping the country talking to itself unless you happen to live in Canberra then you can forget it..

anyway just popped into polsuxs and guess what the front page is filled by MOTR and ADElaidecrow...well yes I did note one thread by macca...naughty maccca..MOTR was doing a DRAH.. multiple one after the other...

I am sure they were all lampooning Abbott does that count as being boring???????

of course not... only if its about this dreadful govt...and then the poor dears can only stand one thread on just how bloody bad they are..LOL>.

sorry if I can see the bias here bobby I am sure you dont see it that way..but even FD cant help himself..

I am not too sure what the problem is.. one can always open their own threads and find something else to talk about....

or one can ignore those that irritate... I do it all the time.. it isnt hard..

one can always go back a page and find something they prefer to talk about and bring it to the front page....that isnt hard either...

whats to complain about?.. my god whinging is the new black I see if you havent got something better to do than whinge about how many threads someone posts in a day..

may I suggest you take a break every other day..and go outside and do some gardening.. good for the soul

if I want whinging I wont come on here.. Embarrassed Embarrassed

Cods,
Maqqa has quietened down since the leadership spill.

My thread was more forward looking at the run up to the election - that's all.

cheers
Bobby.

I found what you said to be completely and utterly honest, accurate and verifiable.
