ALP bad news continues
Mar 30th, 2013 at 8:20am

The bad news for the ALP is still rolling in. Queensland Bogeyman Newman was very unpopular with voters in that state because of his slash and burn approach. His figures have rebounded and he now enjoys the support he had when he turfed out alleged Premier Anna Bligh.

I can smell the brown stuff running down the legs of ALP heavies.

LABOR'S efforts to portray Tony Abbott as a Campbell Newman-style leader who would oversee a "slash and burn" government have been dealt a severe blow with the latest Newspoll revealing support for the Queensland Premier has rebounded.

The Newspoll, conducted exclusively for The Weekend Australian, shows voter support for Queensland's Liberal National Party government has recovered, now equalling the levels Mr Newman enjoyed a year ago, when the party posted its landslide election victory.

The ALP, the progressive party, the party of ideas, the workers' friend, is the only Australian political party to roast four young Australians in roof cavities. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

News limited was one of the main players against the government media reform bills saying that it would stop the free press so why do we have to pay to read their articles.

Because news is a commodity. News has gone the way of other things like education, asylum shopping etc.

Technology is the answer, Einstein. More people are reading news online than buying the old-fashioned paper newspaper at the shops, so some newspapers are charging for online access. Seems fair to me.

I have to say this news surprises me, that a turnaround should be so quick.
Unless of course it's just a spin-off from Gillard hatred.

25 consecutive bad polls for Gillard without her even coming close to overtaking Abbott

After 12 months - Newman's back up again
