It's funny what's considered normal has made an about-face. Probably forever, playing with faecal matter would have been considered sick, now it's normal, and those who oppose gays are the abnormal ones.

Not that I oppose gays; I just don't think it should be classed as on par with heterosexuals.

Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Still, I agree. Go to the developing world and see how big an issue gay marriage is. The whole thing seems a tad indulgent to me.

I believe Tony Abbott is led around by the nose by libertarian ideologues who are inherantly anarchists and he needs to recommitt himself to Government and iinstitutions like Marriage. He could do well to improve Australias domestic homeland security situation and stop worrying about people seeking asylum here, we have much more critical domestic threats...
