The 2nd is silly, because everybody already has the right to get married. Well, except children that is.

There is no simple correction because division of property (property settlement) is a complex issue ~ but it is just so wrong to post on a Forum like this that if you have been living in a defacto relationship for just 18 months, you get to grab half of everything.

That might be very acceptable.
But then they'll be envious of that and demand churches etc not be allowed to discriminate.
