Although ugly and not condoned, I do see the irony

Just when gay bashing was eradicated (to a point of far fewer anyway). In come the greens and bring it back in spades.

Talk about irony.

...

“A man in Paris, France was reportedly beaten for walking with arm in arm with his boyfriend Olivier early Sunday morning. Wilfred de Bruijn, a French resident, says he was assaulted while walking in Paris’ 19th arrondissement. He says he sustained several injuries, including a missing tooth, broken bones, and fractured pieces of bone in his skull. He posted a photo of his wounds on his Facebook page with the caption “Sorry to show you this. It’s the face of homophobia,” reports Al Jazeera.

Are gays happy to fight for a religion that may also mean gay bashing goes on the rise?

How long do you think it would take to get it out of that religion to make it stop?

The usual "gays are the problem" argument.

Geez you got issues dont you.

The questions are valid on top of irony, even if your prejudice gets in the way.

Fascinating that progs describes himself as "ugly, but not condoned".

Being a bit hard on yourself, mate.

I'd like to see conservative buggers bashed, just as a study of course, to see how long before the stupidly could be bashed out of them.

It would seem you have already been testing the outcome or more to the point, someone has been testing it on you.

A 4th grader would know better than to make such an elementary error.

Laughing at yourself is great therapy. Lighten up, mate.

Well that is out of the scope of my original questions. I dont know how prevelant that is and rape is something that all societies struggle with really.

I am interested in the gay demographic because gay bashing has been almost eradicated in Australia and UK(but more population would not seem so to an Australian) and am wondering how they feel about it being in danger of returning more so in a religion that has shown its stubborn  dogma, so will revive for a very long time I would suggest.

The prejudices of a few should not stop people from striving to get what is rightfully theirs.  It's as simple as that. One cannot blame the "religion" as you like to call it (and on some level I understand why you do) for the prejudice of others.  And you should not be suggesting to gay people to stop their plight because some in the community may reignite their hatred by using violence.  These are the people with the problem and they are the ones that we must condemn.
