The usual "gays are the problem" argument.

It is a bit hard to get the answers to my questions without joining the dots.

Yep just like the blacks were the problem.
And those asians.
and those asylum seekers.
and those muslims.

Why can't they all just f*off, right?

And don't forget:

"They were wearing short skirts, so it's no wonder they were raped".

Roll Eyes

Well that is out of the scope of my original questions. I dont know how prevelant that is and rape is something that all societies struggle with really.

I am interested in the gay demographic because gay bashing has been almost eradicated in Australia and UK(but more population would not seem so to an Australian) and am wondering how they feel about it being in danger of returning more so in a religion that has shown its stubborn  dogma, so will revive for a very long time I would suggest.

The prejudices of a few should not stop people from striving to get what is rightfully theirs.  It's as simple as that. One cannot blame the "religion" as you like to call it (and on some level I understand why you do) for the prejudice of others.  And you should not be suggesting to gay people to stop their plight because some in the community may reignite their hatred by using violence.  These are the people with the problem and they are the ones that we must condemn.

I talk of the religion because there is a direct connection to the prejudice and because of its stubborn dogma.

I am in no way suggesting gays do anything apart from hopefully answer my questions. I am actually interested in the conundrum.

The part of linking the greens is the only prejudice I speak because I dont like the greens because of their policies, roots and the greens have greater gay numbers than any other party, so relates to them more.

Since when have gays "fought" for any religion?
Progs, this thread is ridiculous even by your standards.

I really don't see any irony at all.

The only way it could be ironic is if you make a few ridiculous assumptions.
Left wing defend the rights of Gays - therefore all gays must be left wing
Left wing defend the rights of foreigners - therefore gays must also.
All muslims bash gays - therefore attacks on "gays" are ironic

The stupidity of these assumptions is quite breathtaking even for you progs.

I am not here to teach you my logic, you have your own obviously.

That is your opinion but sadly it reflects more of being blind than anything else.

My thread may not be palatable, but it is relevant.

When religion eventually totally loses it's power to send people to hell, it will fall by the wayside or transform itself into more palatable ideals.

What power is this? That assumes that A. religion is not just a collection of formalized superstitions and there really are invisable sky pixies, and B. that hell is a real, physical location (no, Detroit, Michigan does not count). Sine there isn't any evidence to support either assumption then it stands to reason religion doesn't actually have "power" beyond what the ignorant grant them.

Back to the topic, Abrahamic religions are predisposed to homophobia, who knew. It's not just Muslims, Christians and Jews both do the exact same sh*t. The pronlem isn't the gays, itvs ignorant bastards holding that the ancient social morals of cattle sacrificing primatives is better than not being a dick to their fellow man.

How long do you think it would take to get it out of that religion to make it stop?

I'd like to see conservative buggers bashed, just as a study of course, to see how long before the stupidly could be bashed out of them.

It would seem you have already been testing the outcome or more to the point, someone has been testing it on you.

Are you saying conservatives are all gay?

I cant see any part about this thread that says societies dont struggle with gay. Well done for totally missing the point of not all societies struggle with gay bashing. They may have in the past and to the point, may again.

Im pretty sure I made the point quite obvious, but you, you are challenged.

Although true cods, it really is another thread on its own. Gay bashing and your every day male on male violence are very seperate issues.

Gawd. No comprehension skills as usual. You said that rape was different because all societies struggle with it. So no societies struggle with gay or gay bashing?
