Well if here's the thread for wild speculation on whodunnit, I'm placing my money on a bunch of no-hoper honkies. meh.

But the sensational part is that they were encouraged to carry it out by an FBI informant who, frustrated by the honkies failure to live upto the bogeyman status bestowed upon them in Obamas amerika, have had to walk closer and closer to the edge in their quest to fabricate, and then bust a case for the purposes of propaganda.

It's extremely ironic that a city which was the headquarters of IRA fundraising organisation NORAID, and which gave a lot of money to that organisation was hit by not only a bombing but a very IRA-like bombing.

In fact, there are those who think that it WAS the IRA who did it:

Could the Boston Bombing have been linked to the IRA?

Recently Boston College has been forced by the Supreme Court to hand over tapes made by former IRA members as part of a historical study into the Northern Irish Troubles to the British (Police Service of Northern Ireland). The attack was similar to the ones the IRA used to pull not too long ago.

This bombing bore all the hallmarks of an IRA bombing, its in Boston and it happened on the same day that a case involving sensitive incriminating material regarding high level Sinn Fein and IRA members ruled against keeping that material secret.
