Has this country gone mad?

The whole Western world has gone mad!

....except for me, and my mate, Grey,

Quote:

Rapist Given Payout For Human Rights Breach
A convicted rapist is to receive damages from the Government....
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) found Somali national Mustafa Abdi was unlawfully detained for two-and-a-half years as he awaited deportation.
..... In 2002, the then-home secretary David Blunkett ordered Abdi's deportation and issued an authority for detention until the making of a deportation order.
But from August 2004 until July 2006 it was not possible to remove him because the last carrier prepared to take "enforced returns" to Somalia withdrew and Abdi refused to return voluntarily.

........and even Grey has gone a little wonky!

Grey said.....
Quote:
.....you're a racist Yadda.

Now there are jerks out there who want to give illegal boat people bravery awards.
I would rather see bravery awards for the single & abused mums who are forced to sleep in cars with their kids, while this other trash gets acommodation, welfare and furnishings lavished on them.

You want to give bravery awards to dopey women who are to stupid to use birth control and then to lazy to get a job because they think everyone else should support them and their sprogs for the rest of their sorry lives?

You need to learn some respect TOAD

Yes adelcrow, I WOULd rather hand out awards to the abused and deserted women who struggle in this society instead of the human flotsam & jettsom who are never likely to assimilate to this society, who start being a burden before they even freakin' land here and will likely, probably like yourself, be a burden on it for ever . . .unless someone has the guts to get rid of them!

Why hand any awards out to asylum seekers or Aussie born bludgers?
The only thing stopping single mums or dads from working for a living is pure laziness..Dont forget that most people in two parent families work full time so whats stopping single parents from doing the same.

adelcrow, If you expect single mothers/Parents to WORK, well then get your useless body out of there way and allow them to WORK.

As Stanhope is administrator of Christmas Island, I assume he was administering Christmas Island, thousands of kilometres from Canberra.

We were talking of his time as ACT chief jerk Peter.

alevine, I have never tried to disguise my opposition to the boat invasion and to those who have engineered it as being related to "saving lives". So don't try to hang that useless rubbish on me.
I have always pointed out that I was coming from a viewpoint that we were allowing in people who in the main would never assimilate or contribute.
Or as you would put it, from a racist viewpoint.

While I'm all for the boat people coming to Australia, I do think we have more than enough home grown hero's to worry about without having to go and look offshore for people to reward with medals.

First generation migrants have always had the most difficulty assimilating. Be they boat people or otherwise. They used to say the same thing about Italians, Greeks, Vietnamese, Slavic's and so on and so on ... most migrants don't usually become fully assimilated until they have had their kids grow up in country, then they usually change their attitudes to be more in keeping with what their kids are doing, who because they've grow up here, usually have no problem with assimilation.

If you're all for the boat people coming, how many would you like to have? Is there any limit and if so can you name it?
Perhaps you'll be joining the nice old dear who is making her home available to one or more of them.

Well I'm glad you're admitting your against the entire humanitarian program then.  Why not make it clear then and argue against the entire yearly 20,000 quota, as opposed to just those who arrive by boat?

John_Smith,

You are promoting as fact,
an erroneous assumption about [the majority of] those people who are coming to Australia, in boats today.

Moslems do NOT want to, or intend to, assimilate into the culture that they come to 'live with'.

Moslems bring their own culture with them, to their new land.

And, ISLAM is a culture that puts itself in conflict with all other cultures, that it encounters.

There is no respect for 'multiculturalism' in ISLAM.

ISLAM does not share political power, with ANYONE!

ISLAM is a mono-culture political system.

ISLAM is a mono-culture, that promotes its own superiority, and rejects sharing any political space, with any other [un-ISLAMIC] political authority.

+++

ISLAM REJECTS SHARING POLITICAL AUTHORITY, WITH ANY un-ISLAMIC POLITICAL AUTHORITY

Jahiliyya = = the un-ISLAMIC lifestyle, e.g. a society which embraces political pluralism.

Quote:

"THE RIGHT TO JUDGE"
"It is not the function of Islam to compromise with the concepts of Jahiliyya which are current in the world or to co-exist in the same land together with a jahili system........"

SAYYID QUTB - ISLAMIC scholar
http://www.islamworld.net/justice.html

OR, Google;
"THE RIGHT TO JUDGE" SAYYID QUTB

The 'Jahiliyya' lifestyle is totally incompatible with ISLAM.

And in fact, to devout moslems, the mere *existence* of non-moslem communities is viewed as insulting to the authority of Allah.
...because you see, moslems 'deserve' to have 'authority', to rule the whole world, for Allah.

Jahiliyya is a result of the lack of Sharia...

Quote:

"....Jahiliyya is a result of the lack of Sharia law, without which Islam cannot exist;"
"...true Islam is a complete system with no room for any element of Jahiliyya"
"...all aspects of Jahiliyya...are "evil and corrupt" "

Nobody mentioned anything about people smugglers.

And, asylum seekers aren't "illegals".

Crisis averted.

A number of those who have been convicted as 'people smugglers', are also the same people who have been recognised by Australia as being 'asylum seekers'.

New crisis!

Many so called, 'asylum seekers', are people who are fake asylum seekers,
.....who bring their clear criminal intent, with them, to Australia.

Still can't post links......google "Boat crewmen's bid for even justice failing".

I previously posted that I am confused that a people smuggler would be considered for a bravery award.......despite Govt relaxation in charging crew members under the Migration Act definition of "people smuggler", I remained confused.

Is the Indonesian crewman subject of the suggested award been charged? Incarcerated? Sent home without charge? Applied for asylum citing fleeing from persecution? Been granted a visa?

I'm probably not going to be persuaded that a bravery award should be bestowed, however I want to know more information than eligibility "because it happened in Australian waters"....
