Speaking as a human, 'The Doctrines of Men' are vastly superior to the 'Divine Law' of any deity ever invented.
Human laws can be arrived at by negotiation and discussion, 'Godly Laws' on the other hand, tend to be blanket pronouncements, with no thought for difference in culture and life.

The American military had estimated casualties at around 2 million if they invaded Japan in a conventional manner. Most Japanese people were armed. Add to that what the American forces would have done to the Japanese people. They weighed it up and then dropped the bombs. Those bombs actually saved millions of people. Remember this, America didn't start the war with Japan either. It's easy for some do-gooder to judge this act in our times.
