I will be fielding all questions and relaying Matty’s answers from New Zealand. It’s a long way away, you understand, so please try to be patient with any breaks in transmission.

This is the first time we’ve tried this on Ozpolitics, so it should be quite an adventure.

Matty is very enthusiastic, as you can imagine.

It’s not my fault, I promise. Matty has come down with something - nothing serious! But his doctors feel he should, you know, rest up.

If I can just reconfirm, Matty is in a stable condition, just not up for questions.

I hope I’ve made this point perfectly clear.

If you’d like to write your questions down, I can send them to Matty for answering. His advisers should be able to type them out for us all.
