'Sunday-morning Christians' comprise the vast majority of the English-speaking nations. Come Monday, and it's back to dog-eat-dog in the workplace.

Why do you assume that majority of Muslims are any different, Herbie?

Because in industry I worked with scores of them. Bugged-eyed with religious indoctrination. A total obsession with their Islamic religion.

I watched the interview. He said he was possessed by the devil.

What you immigrant Muslims have yet to understand is that people in the West are nowhere near as saturated with religiosity as you people are.

I was born here, get your facts right.

Anyone born of immigrant parents ~ and who has grown up in a home where the culture has been totally foreign and alien to that of the host people ~ is an 'immigrant' to me. An alien. An interloper. Even a Fifth Columnist for Middle Eastern politics, Sharia law, Halal, jihad, etc etc.

If you prefer the term 'Muslim colonist' ~ okay, I'll grant you that.

You cannot be trusted.

You can't serve two masters ~ Islam, and Australia's Western values of personal freedom and democracy.

Yeah, maybe we should send all Asians home to cause of roger dean.

Muslims can be compatable with the west.

I myself was born here, went through the public education system, have a uni degree and post grad certificate, own a home, pay taxes, just like a normal person would do. My 7 year old son plays rugby league and is one of the highest try scorers in the rugby league division.

I still hold to my Islamic values, it doesn't affect the way I live my life in Australia.

LOL. And where did you and your parents come from? The egalitarian society of Australia? Or the land of sycophancy and class systems that is the UK?

I am sick of foreigners like you, Gillard, and Abbott coming to my country and telling us how to behave.

Commoners like you weren't even allowed to vote in the UK 100 years ago.

That's rich coming from someone who hails from the place where they tried to colonise the whole world  - the same place where they came from to wipe out the Aborigines of this land.

Perhaps you mean like Rupert Murdoch who sold his soul for a US passport. Or John Howard who put the interests of the US before Australia's - starting wars that have cost the lives of over 100 Australians. Or Bob Carr giving up Labor Party secrets to the CIA. Perhaps you mean the thousands of Australians who put the interests of Israel fist and go off to get Israeli passports and join the Israeli army.

My master is God. I would trust a man who's master is God before someone with any earthly master.

True Colours ~ please, don't tell me you're born in Australia but you've got all your womenfolk ~ including a little daughter ~ all decked out in biblical clothing?

You've kicked an own-goal here.

If you check the date of the time that painting refers to, you might find that this little scenario took place over 2000 years ago ~ in the Middle East.

Christian nuns used to wear their covering before Muslim immigration to the West became a problem for them.

Nuns qualified to wear those outfits by not sleeping with men. By not indulging in the pleasures of carnal knowledge. That was their pious virtue. It's what made them exceptional.

Your women swanning around in hijabs to declare their 'modesty' and 'piety' is a travesty and a farce. They sleep with men.

Deport our Asian drug addicts? Good idea. Maybe send them off to PNG.

I'm glad to hear you say that. We have to find a happy accommodation with one another. You're not going home ~ and we're not leaving.

My sincere congratulations.

But this doesn't mean you belong to 'Team Secular Australia' more than you belong to 'Team Muslim Australia'.

Similarly, the majority of indigenous Australians salute the aboriginal flag before they do the Australian flag.

Who to trust at our backs in times of trouble?

That's disgraceful. It's child abuse. What in heaven's name possessed you to put one of those silly rugby balls into your boy's hands instead of a soccer ball?

I'm very disappointed in you.

Rugby is for brainless thugs with no skills and no aptitude for the refined art of manoeuvring a round ball with ones feet.

Those who fail the skills and the intelligence needed to play competition soccer ~ end up with their head up someone's arse in a scum.

I see lots of boundaries between your 'simple' belief in God, and harsh conditions for women in particular

If GST rises by 5%, then your income must also rise by 5%. Which means you will either become unemployed or underpaid. Choose wisely

They lived pretty much in a desert, but noticeably on drawings depicted night time they never really covered their faces, neither men, nor women.
They also never viewed it as dress code, it was a way of life in a desert. Not in a bank branch

by all means it's cruelty to keep that woman on the right in a sack at the beach and it's a wrong message to the growing young population - lack of freedom for some women, which inevitably poses a threat for all.

I am not sure why you would think there would be any chance of me forcing you to cover from 'tip to toe'.

The Quran teaches believing Muslim women that they should cover most of their bodies when in public, but it doesn't say anything about anyone forcing women to wear anything.

Prophet Muhammed himself did not force women to cover from "tip to toe" so who am I to do that?

My advice to you would be: "become a monotheistic Muslim"

I think that you may have some misconceptions on this issue regarding cultural practices in some countries which do not have their roots in the Islamic religion. I don't think that Islam places 'harsh' conditions on women. In some cases I find that Western culture is harsher on women.

because if everything becomes islamic, then I would be forced to, because I would have no choice

I don't find it at all, in fact I am terrified visiting any muslim country, even as a tourist, even for a short stay. On the other hand, I don't feel this way about Brazil, or Argentina, or even Mexico, where things aren't exactly tip-top either, financially speaking. It says a lot.
