Garbage. Egyptians, Chinese, Indians and Mesopotamians were practicing science centuries before the 190 BC.
You did actually read my comment? You can read? Let me refresh your memory.
The scientific method was invented by the ancient Greeks when Eratosthenes conducted the first scientific experiment in about 190 BC
Did you notice the two words that were put one after the other? Scientific method
The scientific method of reproducibility, evidence/observation validating theory or a hypothesis via experimentation or measurement, was invented by Eratosthenes in 190BC when he conducted an experiment to estimate the circumference of the earth to within about 5% accuracy.
You can repeat his experiment if you like. You may learn something about Western civilisation predominantly originated from.
We are not talking about stone age humans using trial an error to shape axe heads or spear tips - that is a type of technological and scientific advancement at well. We are talking about the SCIENTIFIC METHOD as is used today.
We are also not talking about surgical techniques where one person bashes another persons skull in because they believe they are possessed by spirits.
We are talking about delicate eye surgery (Alcmaeon ~450 BC). we are talking about propositions that human emotions and feelings reside in the human brain - an aspect of human thought rather than a function of the heart.
To trivialise the contributions of the ancient Greeks says more about your personal motives than it says about me. I am just a Swede who researchers many aspects of how humans arrived to the state we are in.
And for that you must read all history from many different cultures and corners of the world/
try it sometime - you may be pleasantly surprised at what you uncover
