Iran Khan in hospital
May 8th, 2013 at 3:48pm

Former Pakistani cricket captain and now leader of the Movement for Justice Party will have to watch this weekend's election from a hospital bed.

Though around 100 people have died in the campaign, Khan's injuries were accidental. He fell from a forklift when about to address a rally. He suffered head and spinal injuries.

Some of the opposing parties have temporarily suspended campaigning out of respect. It has been predicted that Movement for Justice may gain enough votes to play a part in forming a government.

Imran is a Taliban sympathizer, hopefully that drop knocked some sense into him but I don't think it did, not a high enough drop by half.

Criticising America doesn't make him a sympathiser of the Taliban. It just makes him sensible.

Guess Pakistan's version of OSHA is sleeping on the job or Khan ignored the warning labels about needing a safety harness when operating on an elevated forklift deck. Stupid is as stupid does.

DO you blame america for all of Australia's or New Zealand's social problems? If not that must mean you are not a sensible person.

No I don't, nor did I ever say I did.

But if I were Pakistani, I would not be well disposed to the Yanks. They armed and trained the Northern Alliance, which then morphed into the Taliban, one of Pakistan's greatest problems.

They also bomb Khan's country without consultation or permission. What's there to like?
