Labor are economic vandals, with this government the worst of all past Labor governments. They're going down for the lies, the arrogance, the broken promises and economic incompetence that have brought this country to its knees and forced us into years of deficits and at least a decade of paying off debt.

Every country in the world is in debt and are still struggling with the downturn in the world economy much worse than Australia.....I cannot see how the Liberal Faithful justify such blatant crap.....Australia is doing very well by International Standards and is not in any danger of losing its AAA credit rating or reneging on its debt.....Australia should be thankful our Government where able to stave off the worst of the GFC and leave our economy in relatively good shape....This scare mongering is all about Tony Abbott's quest to be PM and has nothing to do with economic reality of the last 6 years!!!

Not only is the debt more than double Keatings' debt that took Howard/Costello a decade to repay, Swan has also seen fit to raise the debt ceiling not once - but twice. A third increase to $300bn is not impossible under the ALP.
