When making claims, or counter-claims, they need to be as clear and precise as possible. The onus is on the writer, and not the reader, to communicate their thoughts in the clearest possible manner. If the reader has issues with fathoming your content, then more often than not, it is the writer's fault, and not the reader's. (In academia, there is a 100% onus on the writer to communicate their ideas effectively, but given that you obviously dropped out of school when you were about 15 or 16, I'll allow you some leeway here).

Did you read that from one of the assessment sheets you found on the floor while mopping? Good on you!! Smiley

You will also know that when forming a debate, the level of explanation depends on the audience. I'm sorry I over assessed your comprehension skills.  Next time I'll review songs from Sesame Street and try to put my comments into a similar style, for your easy reading Smiley

And that's strike 3. Have a nice night Smiley

This has been a comforting exchange. It has reaffirmed my belief that left-wing trendy types have little to no understanding of logical processes or lines of reasoning, nay, the basic mechanics of debate.

It's another clear case where slogans that occupy their mind have clouded their ability to analyse and think through a line of reasoning to its consequences.

This exchange was a classic case of where moralising was presumed to be the ultimate arbiter on right and wrong. Moral feeling and slogans, however, are no match for analytical thinking. Once asked to explain the usage for the term 'bigot', alevine got caught out. He hadn't thought his slogan through to its consequences; not only that, he didn't even think one step ahead beyond the slogan. But let's not blame poor alevine here. Let's blame his 'intellectual' masters who have taught him words like 'bigot', 'fascist', 'sexist', 'racist' and the like are the be-all and end-all of discussion. His masters, being emotionally unstable and therefore unable to engage in cool, calm analytical reasoning, do not foresee that such base catchwords cannot stand up to rigorous analysis. Alevine, being an unthinking brute like his idols, falls into the same problems.

Who would these 'masters' be? Since the schools and media spout the opposite?

Murdoch loves backing winners. That's why he hitched himself to the Blair bandwagon and why he is supporting Abbott.

When a Labor leader eventually looks likely to form a government, Murdoch will switch sides. He is the ultimate political chameleon.

You dislike Murdoch because he has power.  That's cool, just don't go thinking the moral facade you try to shroud it in is fooling anyone.

I don't dislike Murdoch's power, only the way he employs it. No "morale facade", just dislike for people who use their power and money to undermine democracy.

which rupert personally ordered and/or approved???

the implication you make revleas you to be a simpleton. Do you want to blame every evil committed by and ALP 'employee' on the PM or ALP President? Because if that is the case then Gillard is to blame for child porn, drug trafficking and child sex.
