If you're a smoker you don't need matches or a lighter in some parts of Sweden right now. Muslims have torched a couple of cities. You can light your cigarette by leaning into a burning building or car.

I know a lot of squaddies from growing up in Hong Kong and have the fiercest respect for them, regardless of their colour, their religion or their political views.

Yes, I do.

His stint in the British army has nothing to do with loyalty to Britain. It's his chosen career path, just as with the Gurkhas or the old Sepoys of the British army.

It was his job.
