Choudary, filmed speaking on Friday at his office near Walthamstow mosque in East London, refused to condemn Lee's alleged killers.
He said: "As far as they are concerned I believe that they were doing what they believed to be Islamically correct.
"Only Allah can judge them in the hereafter for what they did in their life. In their eyes they are martyrs and what I say is Allah may accept them into paradise.
"I believe all Muslims will eventually go to paradise."
Choudary also launched a disgraceful attack on Help for Heroes — the Armed Forces charity whose top Lee, 25, was wearing when he was singled out for attack in Woolwich, South London.

He said: "Who's the hero exactly? The person who's out in Afghanistan killing innocent women and children?
"What kind of world are we living in? The rest of the world doesn't think that they're heroes.
"I think we need to wake up to the reality. Hello, he's not a hero if he's out in Afghanistan shooting children is he?"
Choudary said the killing of Lee was "a drop in the ocean" compared to the wrongdoing of the British government.
The preacher, who gets up to £25,000 in benefits, added: "I think you need to blame the people who are inciting and who are radicalising these youths, which is really the British government.
"You need to take into account the hundreds of thousands of incidents of people slaughtered, of weddings bombed, of Muslims tortured, of innocent people kept in prison for over ten years.

"These are the crimes that have led to the state of tension."
Choudary was also full of praise for Michael Adebolajo, 28, who along with Michael Adebowale, 22, is accused of murdering Lee.
The preacher, calling Adebolajo by his Muslim name Mujahid, said: "I knew him for a number of years. Mujahid was a very nice man in fact. He attended lectures, went to demonstrations. There is no difference between him and many others who attended our activities."
Choudary, who ran outlawed extremist group al-Muhajiroun, has been repeatedly accused of encouraging impressionable young Muslims to become terrorists.
Despite numerous calls for his arrest, he remains at large.
On Friday, the fanatic insisted it is not him who should be locked up — but David Cameron and the security services. He said: "I believe that the British regime has jumped on to the bandwagon of anti-Islam and anti-Muslim frenzy which they've helped to whip up.
"The MI5 and Special Branch need to be investigated, David Cameron and his own regime need to be indicted for inciting murder and hate crimes."
He warned there would continue to be "harsh repercussions" here if Muslims continued to be killed in Afghanistan and elsewhere. Shadow Justice Secretary Sadiq Khan, a leading Muslim MP, said Choudary did not reflect the views of the Islamic community.
He said: "Nearly all British Muslims will be shocked.
"For Anjem Choudary to preach hatred and division on the back of the murder of Lee Rigby is an insult to his family and friends who are still mourning his loss.
"We must not allow him to hijack the religion of Islam or divide our communities."
Home Secretary Theresa May said: "I think Anjem Choudary has disgusting views and it is right that we look at how those views are being presented."

What does it say about the British leadership that they tolerate this propagandist for violent jihad?

How soon would it take for the pollies to act decisively if a white Christian was preaching hatred of the Muslims in the UK?

This is where the political system fails the majority.

There are 2 million Muslims in the London area alone, and none of the sitting members of the British parliament wants to risk the Muslim vote in his electorate.

So 'mum's' the word when it's a Muslim who's making a nuisance of himself.

When the terrors begin, the left and the moslem camps will deny all responsibility [for the circumstances which have provoked a violent response against them], and will claim victimhood.

They always do - provocation, threats, intimidation, violence, .....but no responsibility.

When people refuse to confront a serious social ill, there are always negative consequences.

The reality can be denied.

But the consequences of the [denied] social ill are always unavoidable.

I know of no method to secure the repeal of bad or obnoxious laws so effective as their stringent execution.

It begs the question: If they are born in the UK and are so enamoured with Islamic law and tradition, then what's stopping them from emigrating to a Muslim-majority country?

Answer: They worship the Western standard of living better than they do Allah.

It's not just wages that are keeping some of them in Britain ~ but it's also very much the Dole that stops a lot of them 'going home'.

The most dole-sucking ethnic community in the UK.... click 'Muslims and Unemployment'.

Their first priority is to smash nationalism with its loyalty to 'the homeland'.

Step 1. Initiate mass-immigration so that the local population is demographically rendered asunder in terms of cultural, racial, and religious homogeneity.

Step 2. Make criticism and antipathy towards these newcomers subject to punishment by law under 'vilification' clauses.

Step 3. Introduce into the national consciousness an ethos of 'celebration' for society now having become one of disunity, division, diversity, and cultural ghettoism under the auspices of a 'Multicultural Australia'.

Step 4.
