He is more entertainer than an effective President, he might be remembered well but his term was plagued with lack of achievement.

quite true, i read a few books on the charisma of JFK but the fact that both LBJ and nixon were probably more effective in advancing a lot of the lefts causes. if you read mike moores book on bill clinton, bill was probably the biggest friend of wall street ever. a confused system, paralysed by too much local interest. most of the senators couldnt vote to reduce military spending (funded by chinese borrowing Wink

) as the military is the biggest employer in many states.

Reply #16 - May 25^th, 2013 at 8:01am aquascoot Its interesting that the US is recognised as the real home of democracy, the Greeks may have thought up the idea but the US have done all the donkey work, yet their system of government is so inefficient and ineffective....... it seems to be just getting worse.
