How stupid!! Egypt has pyramids that were built thousands of years ago - so Egypt is now a great country???

Same with Islam. It had a big town over 1000 years ago - therefore it's all beneficial and marvellous today. Where the hell do you get off?

By the time of Christ, the Circus Maximus could seat up to 150,000 people.

It took until 1935 for Rome to hit 1 million again - up from roughly 20,000 in 700AD.

Baghdad sat on the Silk Road. Is it any wonder it developed?

Good one. Rome is still Rome. Baghdad has been a shitehole for centuries. It's now famous for sunni-shia suicide bombing.

As an Artisan gandalf and having installed a bidet in my then own home in 1975 I can assure you that using toilet paper is far more hygienic you then wash your hands in bacterial soap,. You are a man I presume?
