When I last used these forums, many months aago, people were trying to ascertain whether matty was male, female, or some mutant trans gender creature, because the stories it wrote were very confusing.
Married, living here there and everywhere, greens member abbott supporter, it was way too days of our lives for me to follow.
So, has it picked a gender, and location, and ideology it can settle on yet?

It is true, Mozzoak. Matty is all those things.

As has been said, his return shall also be thunderous.

Lucky you, Mozz, Matty has just returned from NZ where is created a Liberal party chapter in the city of Duneden. He only started posting here again last week. As far as we know Matty will be running for parliament on the back of a policy to legalise same sex unions between humans and their pets.

Matty has been campaigning on animal welfare issues for a number of years, Skippy. I find it highly consistent with his past advocacy that Matty would support the pet marriage issue. This is gaining electoral ground in a number of marginal seats and has huge public support. Frankly, a number of people are fed up with these animals living in sin. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, I say.

The Libs would surely benefit from having such a campaigner inside the tent, as it were.

Only Mr Abbott can stop the boats, overturn the carbon tax, end the Labor waste and ditch the witch. This should be quite easy to do in one term.

After that, the Libs will need to work on the issues important to all Australians. I can't think of a politician better placed to do this than Matty. Surely he's the most sensible choice for Liberal leader after Mr Abbott.

Thoughts?

Have you heard about the latest polls?  Matty has overwhelming support and people are already saying he is the greatest pm this country has ever had; without him even spending one day in the job!  The world will be so much better and rainbows will shine on us every day with Matty as pm!  Go Matty!!!

I agree, Alevine. And as for Matty not having spent one day on the job, look at Bob Hawke. He wasn't even an MP when Fraser announced the 83 election.

I think Matty's leaving his run until the last minute. The people of Australia clearly want him in - perhaps Matty's just teasing us.

What a meanie.

I think Matty should do the honours of putting all these leftards into the chaff bag. He can start with Friyay, and his biscuits.

She sure as hell isn’t helping the cause is she?

Deceit – that’s what she’ll be remembered for.

I am deeply offended by the use of the 'pet' word. It's a word steeped in the patronising attitudes towards 'the other' that Matty is trying so hard to eradicate. Here a group of fellows from Matty's congregation discuss some of the odditties in hukind they've come to terms with.

Yes, don't forget the biscuits, Fri Yay is very fond of his biscuits.
