Nothing will happen until Parliament rises for Winter recess.  That takes the outcome of ALP Leadership and its timing, and Election timing  away from Oakshot and Windsor, with whom Gillard had a direct agreement.

Apparently Shorten is under pressure to change to Rudd. Shorten is essentially the only thing keeping her in, as he commands about 7 votes. One of my sources tells me that the current numbers are about 54-47 in Gillard's favour, so which this space over the coming days. I hope that she stays, though, because she's the Coalition's best asset.

That's right John, matty is a highly regarded politician who has sources within the leftard garbage dump that is the Labor Party of Australia.  Matty however is not confirming if he himself will move on his leader, Tony Abbott.  The polling suggests if Matty becomes the new leader of the Liberal Party, the party would no longer even have to keep a coalition with the Nationals, and would obtain a primary vote of 57%.  Because Matty Knows.  It's as simple as that.

Even with Rudd in the chair - it's too late for Labor

Question
(1) Why would he take the leadership before the election if he knows they will lose
(2) Why would he take on the leadership after the election when the double dissolution is still hanging over their heads

Anyone taking on the leadership now will take a double whammy

Who says Labor would lose under  Rudd?

every poll
common sense

you do realise labor isn't just a smidge behind but rather SIXTEEN PERCENT?

I'm not sure about your figure of 57% .... that all depends on whether he will allow those homersexuals to marry

You said he would lose, evidence? Because most polls on the subject put him in a winnable position. So ,Ill ask again, you said he would lose, how do you know?

I said Labor would still lose

Of course not John! What a leftard proposition!  If matty allows homersexuals to marry he'd be going against moral fiber of our society and as a result the polls will drop faster than they have for that red-headed baron witch that should be thrown out to sea in a chaff bag!!! No! No! No! THERE WILL BE NO CARBON TAX UNDER THE GOVERNMENT I LEAD! Matty won't be making those mistakes. He is too smart.  And his beloved wife, Lynne, would make a fantastic "First Lady."  Especially when she's still such a stunner, for her age Wink

Oh, because you said.  Cheesy
Like longloony you're delusional. The voters are screaming out for someone else to vote for other than Gillard or Abbott. Rudds a wanker, but I would love to see him come back and win just to rub sh it in the faces of Abbott and the conga line. Then Labor could just dump him again, job complete. Grin

I think a much more interesting discussion to be had is whether or not matty will preference Pauline Hanson?  My sources suggest that yes, he will.

Thoughts?

Matty has obviously been in contact with the ABC. They are reporting " sources" known to them are saying  Gillard could be close to  standing down rather than be pushed.

Skip, surely you don't think that Matty would be getitng his news from the ABC? They are just a communist rag.  No, Matty has such political standing in this country that I bet even the leftard ABC is using HIM as their source.

Desperation is setting in as it gets nearer to voting time.  Kevin Rudd isn't going to be your saviour, and the fella with the long head Wee Willie Shorten has difficulty stringing two words together, so his support for KRudd isn't going to help.

You're stuck with Dillard.....
