Yesterday I was sighing because Gillard fired up the gender wars once more. But reading today's news I am left wondering exactly how f***ked the liberals still are when it comes to casual sexism and racism.

I can understand Hockey not reading the menu - the fat ass would probably always just eat everything on the menu, so no point looking at it and deciding.

But Mal Brough needs to stop his quest for parliament. Obviously he isn't fit. And obviously he is yet another loon that should be as far away from Canberra as possible.

It was PRINTED on a carefully thought out and PREPARED menu for a Liberal Party function, and I'm sure they all had a huge giggle at it. Not now, given the sh1t has hit the fan.

Brough has now been forced to admit it was deeply offensive and sexist.

Pity there will likely be photos of him holding the menu with a stupid smirk on his face.

The Liberal Party is a haven for sexism right down to grass roots, and there is no point denying it.

High-profile Liberal National Party candidate Mal Brough has apologised for a "deeply regrettable, offensive and sexist" menu at one of his fundraisers, which mocked Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s body.

The menu featured a dish called "Julia Gillard Kentucky Fried Quail – Small Breasts, Huge Thighs & A Big Red Box."

Mr Brough says the menu was drawn up by a non-party member who thought it would be "humorous" and "didn't mean any harm by it," but is now "deeply apologetic".

Shadow treasurer Joe Hockey was the guest of honour at the March event, but has tweeted that he can't recall ever seeing the menu.

"It is offensive and inappropriate whenever it was put out and it is now," he said.

Mr Brough, a former Howard government minister who is seeking to return to parliament in a Queensland seat, has also defended his colleague, telling the ABC "Mr Hockey had nothing to do with it."

Mr Brough also insisted he could not recall seeing the menu at the event for 20 people, held on March 28.

Asked if it could see him disendorsed, or affect his preselection in any way, Mr Brough said that was a "ridiculous" suggestion.

"I didn't condone the menu nor did I authorise it...it should never have been written," he said.

The menu emerged on Twitter this morning after Ms Gillard was accused of stoking a "false gender war" with her comments over abortion.

Speaking to a fundraising organisation linked to the Labor Party, called Women for Gillard, the PM warned the issue would become the "political plaything of men" if Tony Abbott became prime minister.

This morning Deputy Opposition Leader Julie Bishop called the comments a "crude political ploy from a desperate PM leading a bitterly divided party" and demanded an apology from Ms Gillard.

? What can I do when I take the examples of my "leaders"? Wink

If my "leaders" didn't believe it was okay to talk about small breasts and large thighs then perhaps I wouldn't refer to Hockey as a massive fat ass. Plus it's the only conclusion one can make when he actually claims he didn't look at the menu. Last time I checked, when you arrive at a function the menu is at the table in front of your seat.

And my comments are there to inspire the outrage as you have provided. It's not nice to be on the other end of the shoe, is it. Wink
