Now, let's see whether Mr Abbott is consistent, or is this going to be another clear demonstration of his basic dishonesty. He called for Slipper to be sacked when he (Slipper) used inappropriate language and Slipper eventually resigned over it.

I also find Aboott's response very telling, as it avoids any acceptance of wrongdoing, and lacks the apology thaat should have been immediately forthcoming. Sexist and classless.
