And reality is that given the past history with regard to women's rights, and given the prominence of sexism back then and sexism still towards women, despite how unfair it is, there is a difference between calling on a man's penis and on women's physical appearance. Especially when we then compare how Rudd was made fun of, and how Gillard was: Rudd's joke based on mentality, Gillards on Physical Attributes. These people who make these jokes and who support these jokes (Brough/Hockey) are the PROBLEM people who make the reality what it is, and deny you the ideal where rudeness to both men and women is treated in the same light. Especially when these problem people are in politics.

Gillard did not speak up against the budgie smuggler issue therefore she support that position

Based on that then it's just desserts to shove the red box in her face

? I think you're confused. I'm referring to Tony's rant against slipper for calling a vagina a mussel, but apparently a big red box is appropriate. Interestingly it is so appropriate that sky news is blurring it. But it's okay; skipper has to quit for the remark as it isn't befitting, according to tony, but brough is okay. And incident both members of the LNP. My my.

? It was written by someone else a non-party member there is no reason so far to think he had any knowledge of it or what was written in it.

Are you suggesting he is not a sexist pig - just merely too incompetent to even keep an eye on what is going on at his own functions?

you don't know much about organisations or functions do you. Perhaps julia should have made sure her staff didn't help organise the aboriginal riot which trapped her and Abbott and caused her to be whisked off sans shoe. I note this was her staff not an outsider as the menu author was.

Remember? That is how Tony has been known to attack women. There were 3 witnesses to him punching the wall next to a women's head. Remember? THis was back in the day when he was charged with indecent assault on a woman (he allegedly groped her arse in public), and referred to women chairing meetings as a "chair thing".

That was of course years ago. But he still says things like:

I know exactly what I'm talking about your bias has caused your confusion.

He was speaking about female vaginas and mussells not just one specific one. The idiot commenting earlier got the quote wrong ad the context. he was trying to make it out to be some how a lesser sine to talk about one vagina than to insult the PM. But Slipper the gross misogynist that he is was talking about all women.

I do hope you get it now.

I'm sorry... are you unaware that people have staff and organisations have staff and putting together events requires staff all of whom probably have different duties.
That it is indeed probable that Brough had been busy doing all sorts of things more important than overseeing the printing of a menu.
that someone outside the LNP came up with it thinking it was funny and it may even have been totally overlooked in the process.
