Intelligence 3 Xs More Likely To Vote Greens

Data from Roy Morgan Research shows which professions are most likely to vote above the norm for each of the major parties this September.

The professions most skewed toward voting Greens cover a wide range of professions, from the unsurprising Social Professionals (33%) and Environmental Scientists (30%) to Intelligence and Policy Analysts (29%), Judicial and Other Legal Professionals (28%) and Psychologists (27%). Other professions with a more than double-the-average rate of voting Greens include Medical Laboratory Scientists, Librarians, and Software and Applications Programmers.

Wow, and the list neatly corresponds to the groups in society that are a complete drain on Taxes paid by the other two groups.

Apart from a bit of touchy touchy nice feely stuff, we could happily survive without any of 'em.

No wonder history shows civilisations regularly culling themselves of this lot. Shame it would be so politically incorrect to do so today Sad

One that always gets me was once I watched an interview with Bob Brown at his farm in Tassie and in the background was smoke bellowing out of his chimney. I just don't understand how any modern human being can preach green politics when they drive, fly in planes and live on estates that were once pristine nature. Peter Garrett sung a song about a treaty with the aborigines and he lives on an estate in Bowral. I doubt he'll be giving that back.

Just because someone doesn't give primary vote, doesn't mean that they are opposed in a preferencial voting system.

The other 70% could preference Greens first after their primary vote.

I work with and train environmental professionals all the time and the Greens are largely disliked. Most professionals in this area with more than 5 years of actual practice and field work know that the greens are ideological rather than practical and mostly reject their silliness.
