I took this headline from Mark Kenny from The Age

In 2007 - the hatred for "the rodent" was palatable

Howard could have stepped aside for Costello but decide not to and went on to be defeated

I am certainly not suggesting Gillard will lose her seat - but everything else has a similar ring to the 2007 incumbent government

They stuck steadfast to Workchoices and vowed to fight it post election if they lost

The ALP is doing the same with the Carbon Tax

Despite Howard being so hated in 2007 - Gillard's popularity is isolated to her electorate

Everywhere else - 30% primary vote says it all

Bill 14% is not the alcohol content of that wine. It's your poll number

Gillard could step aside, walk bare foot over hot coals while carrying Rudd on her back to the Prime Minister's office for him to take over the job and still Labor would not win the election. Anyone who thinks Rudd can win for Labor is living in fantasy land!

Based on polls during the last 2 years - Rudd will be the only Labor MP to survive Sept 14 if she leads them to the next election

They need QLD therefore they need Rudd
