While there are certain Journo's who struggle to be objective, most media outlets pander to their readers, there is no real political bias ...... it just comes down to relevancy. The ALP wanted to sell their policies that no one was interested in hearing ...... a media outlet is not going to shoot themselves in the foot for the ALP ..... even the ABC was not that interested in the ALP polices and are still not that interested.

51-34 Gillard had that kind of lead at one stage. I would not pay much attention to these early polls, in fact if want to they actually say the ALP needs to do more work to win.

I think you need to look at how the polls travel from here, the ALP has to offer more than a recycled Rudd.

I agree with the media its was expected Rudd would poll better ..... its a bit of a yawn story.

So far has not been under any real pressure yet, its a honeymoon poll.

So you want to deny that labor thinks of him as Captain Chaos? Should we play for you the hours of abusive comments from his own party? has Rudd done anything since becoming PM other that what he has ever done which is 'stuff'. moving people around, launching enquiries and keeping any actual decisions at arm's length? The frustation is that there is no election date probably because he is incapable of making that decision either.

it is a very fair and accurate headline.

Rudd has always had sky-high popularity for reasons few can understand. Even as PM he was knifed when his popularity was higher than anything Gillard ever reached. That he is more popular than Abbott is neither surprising or particularly relevent since voting intentions (the only thing that matters) is the other direction. And it is still to be seen if the sugar rush of knifing Gillard will keep his polls at this level or slowly slide back. History is not on his side.

So when the papers reported the assault allegations and the sexism allegations they were doing what exactly? Your bias is what confuses you.
