I'm not surprised. I believe the Rudd's made their fortune prior to him moving into politics and good on them. They've obviously made some good choices and if they're smart enough to make the money, then so what? This isn't news. Turnbull is in the same boat, being financially well-off.

True, but whatever the method they've used to accrue such an impressive property portfolio, good on them. I'm sure some of Kevin's parliamentary salary has gone toward it, but I doubt it's the main source. Kevin and Therese have nothing to be embarrassed about - good on them.

Phoney tony is late fifties still has a huge mortgage that he had to increase when he lost government last time because he couldn't " afford to live on his salary as an opposition member" against Rudd who has been successful for a man around the same age.
