Yea well to use a capitalist analogy Rudd is a success and phoney tony a real plodder,at best. Phoney tony is late fifties still has a huge mortgage that he had to increase when he lost government last time because he couldn't " afford to live on his salary as an opposition member" against Rudd who has been successful for a man around the same age. Who would you want in charge of your finances A success or a plodder that battles to get by?

Roosh1te, don't you mean his wife is a success and he merely rides on her back. I also understand that she was in fact in partnership with another women who was in fact a former nun and who was the mainstay of the recruitment business. She unfortunately passed away and left her share of the business to her family. The KRudds went to Court and managed to take over all of the business including her late partner's share, therefore everything isn't really as it seems, is it?

Rudd's luxury property portfolio miles from Struggle Street

KEVIN Rudd's multi-million-dollar property portfolio represents a huge wealth divide between the PM and Labor's working family voters in mortgage belts.

Mr Rudd owns luxury homes in Canberra, Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast. In total, they're estimated to be worth more than $10 million. It includes a $1.4 million block in Brisbane's well-heeled Norman Park that he bought two years ago with a plan to build a million-dollar-plus home for visitors.

Thank G*d he doesn't live in Sydney's Western Suburbs otherwise he'd be accused by ALP acolytes of living in a McMansion leading a shallow life and only concerned with interests rates.

Thank you dear Lord.

So what?

Don't stop there, keep it going. The whole point of this topic has something to do with a political party lashing anyone who has done well in life. Keep expanding on that theme and see where it takes you. A rough analogy would be a person who detests large savage dogs but turns around and buys an alsatian.

The ALP, the progressive party, the party of ideas, the workers' friend, is the only Australian political party to roast four young Australians in roof cavities. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

1. class warfare exists on both sides of politics.
2. I don't see Rudd whining like a rabid swine about losing middle class wealthfare and at the same time owning his numerous number of properties.   Perhaps he should be used as an example for the rest who pretend that they are on struggle street themselves, earning 2-3 times the average Australian's wage?

Stop using class warfare - typical LNP supporters who are jealous of another persons success.

So he has millions and a few properties - it shows he doesn't have to be in politics.

If we compare his position to Tony's - Tony has a big mortgage - why this would mean he was in deficit by about 300%.

He can't run a country if he can't manage his won finances! Smiley

Wealthy people should always be in the Coalition so its a tad confusing for the neo cons when a wealthy person believes in social justice.
