KRUDD 's strategy is to maintain a state of uncertainty for as long as he can. This creates doubt and the usual simpletons look towards a reassuring liar like him who promotes illogical solutions to problems he created in the first place. The average Laborite has the attention span of a gnat and the gullibility of a three year old child, they are desperate to believe in anything which a convincing philistine like KRUDD tells them. Their memories are extremely short.

That doesnt make sense as their primary support has jumped how many percent in a week?

Are swinging voters actually laborites?

This was Howard's favourite game so the coalition have nothing to complain about.

Just like every prime minister before him - Rudd will go to the election when it suits him best.

I expect an election date will be announced some time in July - especially if the polls turn in the ALP's favour.

Id say there is a good change Rudd will read the morgan poll and think labor is in front and call and election.  But of course that would require a DECISION and thats not exactly Mr Magoo's atrength, is it?

They'll wait until they see galaxy and news poll.

It's still the coalitions to win, however they aren't as sure of the result now.

If Kevin does manage to win (somehow) it will be all about Tony Abbott more than what people think of the ALP.

This might shape up as a mirror to 1993 - The ALP are returned with a 1.5% swing (+6 to the ALP) only to be booted out at the next election.

Of course this is probably all moot as it's still the coalitions to lose (55% chance they'll still win!)

Not according to the latest Morgan Poll its not.

the same polling group that gave Gillard a 5% lead 8 months ago???  Might as well rtust a yahoo poll with that level of credibility.

We are talking about the same thing?  He's not coming up with an election date for the above reasons. If we are to rely on polls, and for arguments sake, let's say they are accurate, why not use the opportunity to name the election date?

I can not think of one PM who announced an election date well before it was called. All he is doing so far is the same as every preceding PM.

Considering you all accuse him of being a micro manager, shouldnt he be given time to consult before making a decision on the date?

The election will be held on a Saturday.  That's a certainty.

The election will be held no later than November 30 this year.  That's a certainty.

This is a non-issue.  That's a certainty.

The Liberal Party are in panic mode.  That's a certainty.

I just realised that you are a NEW member and not the old verge.  Makes senses since you post nothing like him.

Rudd is not an idiot.
He needs to see what the polls are like in a few weeks
so that he can make a decision of when to go to an election.

You can't blame him for using the best time to suit labor.
The Libbos would do the same thing.

The so-called Libbos aren't In Charge of Australia. YET! KRudd is a

and you obviously approve of him spending OUR money, showing off?
