This thread was started by me before the last election
when Tony had secret austerity plans.

I revealed them and many laughed at me.

They are not laughing now.

I now want a whole series of grovelling apologies.

The Abbott Government is set to cut everything and inflict austerity on those who can least afford it yet only commit to temporary measures that will affect Politicians and high income earners to con the public into believing this fabricated budget crisis is necessary and sharing the burden.....You where right Bobby and I apologise for thinking Abbott might just keep his word!!!

Don't be too hard on yourself - Tony destroyed Gillard
by carrying on every day about her broken carbon tax promise.
It was normal to expect him to keep tax promises after
taking such a moral high ground but
I could see right through him.

Will it be soon?

I predicted the future -

this was one of my old threads.

given that abbott said he would sack 12000 public servants before the last election, your prediction is hardly Nostradamus-like.

No - I believe I have special powers.

I'm sure you do....

PS its call schizophrenia

Longweekend,
Do you deny that Abbott had secret austerity plans before the election?

forgiven

namaste

because you are an uneducated barely literate clown it is difficult to explain these things to you. It is not austerity to cut back programs or reduce expenditure. the opposite of increasing spending is not austerity.

and no, abbot nether had or has an austerity plan and nor are the budget changes austerity either.

get a dictionary and read up.

He had, he still has, and they are.

You're either incredibly dense, or are deliberately denying the truth, one or the other.

Just forgive Longweekend -

don't hold bitterness in your heart.

As for the poll - I voted 'don't know' -for the simple reason that there may well be such a program in play, but it is only for the peasants....

Tonight in his first budget -

Joe Hockey denied that his budget was about austerity.

These policies may include spending cuts, tax increases, or a mixture of the two.

Labor and the minor parties must block supply.

Stable countries like Australia dont want radical policy reversals like this .

Just in from ABC 24.

This is the first time that people will have no safety net:

Young people will have no support for 6 months if they are unemployed.

What will they do?

Will they resort to crime?

Make sure you have a proper monitored alarm system installed.

Bolt all your windows closed & have metal bars on them.

Have high quality deadlocks installed.

Be prepared for burglaries & home invasions from desperate young people with no food.

To get into power you have to lie to the people.

That's our system.
