I should have bet when it was 4 to 1.

I should have put my house on it.

Don't do any such thing, Bat. Labor is still a bad bet, no matter what the polls say.

Vote for whoever you want, but put your house on the Libbos. You won't cash in, but at least you won't lose your house.

Latest update:

http://www.sportsbet.com.au/betting/politics/australian-federal-politics

Labor now 2.83 to 1.

Libbos   1.40 to 1.

It has come in greatly - it's 50/50 - anyone's election.

Surprising it's not 1 to 1 or really no bet.

what a difference a week makes in politics Wink

Yes Nail,
I'll be bumping this thread up all the time so we can all follow the betting.

I think Dudd will win but he could have another hung parliament too.

Hello Bobby, The thought of an Abbott government is very frightening.  A wise person would vote Green in the senate.  What a good insurance policy.     Smiley

Update.

The odds haven't swung Labor's way after the boat people announcement:

Labor was 2.83 to 1   they are now 3 to 1.

Libbos were 1.40  they now 1.36.

Sworn in Government:

Anyone see the way that Rudd was presented in the Telegraph today, in the chainman Mao uniform with the appearance of a half NAZI salute. No wonder the odds and Polls say what they do.

Disgraceful rag.

Don't know if it was ever on line and if so probably not in the UK ?

Do you remember the ones that they once printed on paper, It was on this mornings edition. It may have also been on line but they are updated through the day with the latest stories as they occur.

The New Guinea story was added in a later edition, it occurred later in the day and was not in the early papers.

How’s this for a historic post, eh Bat?

When Abbott’s turfed, we can frame this one.

They're giving labour about a 1 in 5 chance of winning taking into account the market has been framed to 106%.

Still looks to be reasonable value. Those odds will improve as it becomes clearer Turnbull will not challenge.
