I don't know what planet you have been living on for the past 60 years, but Indonesians have stated openly and in my presence that they consider Australia to be part of Indonesia. All those white people they see living there are just temporary visitors who are oppressing the native Southern Irian Jayans. i know a bloke who was starting up a business over there and the offical told him he always wanted to go to australia and he would love to take his family. he then sat down and wrote out a list of expenses for his "family trip' and presented it to my mate, about $10,000. he winked as he handed it to him and said "see if you think thats right" Cheesy

the whole country is corrupt.

Under a decade ago, Indonesia almost went to war with Australia to "reclaim" the northern part of Australia. No pleases or thank yous at all. Just a straight out "It's ours. We're taking it". There was some large rally in a major city (I'm sure it wasn't Jakarta, though) with people having their suitcases packed ready to go, and an army on standby ready to secure places like Darwin. They thought it was going to be that easy. However, it was the intervention of security agencies (counter terrorism) and various world leaders who found the idea of an occupied Australia to be counter productive to regional stability and trade.
