This time around - Rudd's not getting away with it

He's the hunted now

I remember in 2007 no one really checked what he said

In 2013 - every word he makes is checked and triple checked

For example
He condemns Abbott for turning back the boat and I've found quotes of him saying he fully supports turning back the boats

If you had watched Bolt Report today (7/7/13) you would have seen a clip of Lemon O'Rudd saying those words that he did support turning the boats back. The man is not all that good at remembering things!

a bit like that clip of Abbott claiming a carbon tax was the best way to cut carbon emissions.

What about it jacksh1t

I have the courage to start a thread with the full interview you are referring to

Is there ANYONE on the left who is willing to do the same?

NOT ONE!!!

the problem with you Gumpy is that you start about a dozen threads a day, and none of them are remotely based on facts ....  but you go for it, you obviously believe in quantity over quality

you go back under your rock now jacksh1t

I have made the above comment with reference to the exact words Rudd used

you've made many DUMB comments Gumpy, rarely referenced

yes, until the national security advisors told him it's a bad idea.

What else can we expect from the Labor family of weasels.......repeat the same old guff week in week out. Then you have Buzz with his silly posts who crawled from under his rock or out of his butter-box as soon as KRUDD took the proverbial reins. Are queers misogynistic because we didn't hear from him when Juliar was "in command".......strange most male gays are bloody hairdressers and they have to be female friendly.

Oh really? You cant back that up whatsoever so i wont bother asking. Gays are in every profession.

I don't have any particular issue with it either except that it is unusual for it to be effective. In this case in my opinion the Liberals should have in general been more than a little more honest with their negative criticisms.

how much tax did you pay for the air you breathed whilst writing that claptrap?

if you didn't pay any because you weren't breathing, it would certainly explain the claptrap.

Sigh.............

Isn't STOP THE BOATS by T.ABBOTT a motherhood statement?
We aren't talking about history but the current ad & the upcoming election.
Isn't AXE THE TAX yet another one, or are you in my camp which is both of these are even too stupid to be considered statements let alone a all encompassing motherhood one.

We have no detail how these "POLICIES" will be enacted & in the boats case we have a foreign government already opposed to it with even the VICE PRESIDENT speaking out.

Please list 2 more of these "MANY" burdens on business the ALP has introduced.

BTW - where's your man going to be seen now?
1st Lisa on Today giving him a hard time

And now that prick O'Keefe on Sunrise

4.39 if you cant watch the whole thing.

Seems even the "FLUFF" is getting annoyed at being taken for fools.

1/ Carbon tax
2/ IR laws
3/ resources tax
4/ red tape overload - Quote:
..........Mr Liu said the regulatory framework, particularly around environmental approvals, had shifted from beneath him since his company first bought into the Watermark coal project near Gunnedah, NSW, five years ago.

Advertisement “From our own perspective the regulatory environment is different today than it was when Shenhua first invested in the Watermark project in 2008,” he said.

Chief among Chinese investors’ concerns have been the introduction of the mining and carbon taxes, and its perception that Chinese investors are discriminated against by the Foreign Investment Review Board..............

Sprint

1/ Carbon tax - 300 of our largest polluting companies, hardly small business & hardly the bulk of Businesses Australia wide.

2/ IR laws - Which ones specificly? or is it all of them, Tony doesn't seem to think there's a problem, his already indicated NO CHANGES to IR until 2016 & he will release detail before an election to seek mandate.
http://www.afr.com/p/national/abbott_timid_ir_strategy_iv0PXSwjufLQBNRRrRB7KJ

3/ resources tax - So do you want your cake or do you want to eat it?
You bitch & moan it hasn't collected enough revenue & then you bitch & moan it exists.
Again as with your carbon tax bollocks, effects extremely large businesses not the bulk of the economy which is small to medium businesses.

4/ red tape overload - examples or another "motherhood" statement

And frankly if we want to make sure our ground water is not polluted by Chinese miners we damn well will.
Where's the "Aussie First" mantra we hear when the topics selling farmland & the likes.

The biggest burden on business for red tape compliance is GST and Income tax.

The other annoying ones is Payroll tax that has to be in on the 7th.  A tax on jobs.  A state tax!  Not sure how Abbott will fix that.

The rest is pretty meh and a part of conducting a business.  I say Abbott is full of it once the business groups came out and supported Rudds movement to an ETS sooner so he needs a new pitch.
