Rudd and the aborigines  Roll Eyes

Give me a break there is no other side he uses things and people for his own aggrandizement.

Abbott spends time each year living on the land with aboriginals helping them in real ways and gaining understanding of their problems and lives from the coalface so to speak.  He doesn't brag about it or big note himself.

You lot are still having a lend of yourselves anyone not being a rusted on dolt would acknowledge the facts.

You do yourself no credibility denying the truth.

You have a really poor way of trying to assert your views as facts.

Instead of just saying "no credibility denying the truth" why don't you actually explain THROUGH PRIMARY SOURCES how you know Tony helps aborigines in real ways without bragging about it or big noting himself.

I tend to agree, but I'm really sick of this style of debate where you simply go back to "Oh you're denying the truth" without providing your source for the truth.

So one international aid advisor has a high opinion of Rudd.  So what?  Everything he says about Rudd is diametrically opposite to what every other person who has worked with him says.

Politicians. It is a fair point to compare  a staffer vs a politician and realise where which one may be biased in their view. And we haven't heard from ALL OF RUDD"s staffers. Or have we?\

Fact is, all of this opinion of Rudd has come off the back of him losing in 2010 and from the words of the victors of the time, Juliar, Swan and their backers.  Who is to say that the victors didn't simply re-write history, and in fact it was Gillard's ambitions that got the better of her and she took her chance when she had it?

seriously???  you now want to contend that the large numbers of people saying that Rudd is impossible to work with and a narcissist etc are all wrong and this one person is right???  There is virtually NO ONE in the ALP that is willing to say Rudd is a nice easy-going bloke.

you were better at least working from a position that Rudd is disliked by his colleagues than trying to invent a new one.

Maybe you might ask the the female RAAF steward he abused because his idiot staffers forgot to order his special meal; she might have some insights into rudd and his behaviour.

You can always tell a lot about a person when they interact with wait staff and other service type professions.

very true.  people who treat service staff badly revela a great deal about their own character and it is mostly BAD.
