says the person who has adopted both sides of the political divide.  And since the Libs are still in front, it is perhaps a bit early to declare Rudd the victor in a contest thathas not been announced and where he is still behind.

50/50 is behind??????????

Rubbish.  Hayseed's solution did not include PNG's co-operation in accepting these people as potential long term citizens in that Country.

concepts and principles really do elude some of you people at times.  The Howard solution was 'you will not come to australia'.  the Rudd solution is 'you will not come to australia'.

You should be pleased as punch now Kevin has become a John Howard clone..now theres no reason left for anyone to vote for Abbott

nah... its 2007 all over again.  Rudd picked up a lot of liberal policies, changed 1% of them and called them his own.  Those are the policies that worked. Then he created some all by himself and they were massive disasters.

I dont care what he does as long as it brings an end to Tony Abbotts political career.

A delusional liar to boot. The Libs have not been in front of any poll for weeks, why do you lie so much? Who cares, loser. I look forward to three more years of your tanties, it suits you being a loser.

What an embarrassment the greens are.

I'm a GREENS supporter, but they are wrong on this one. Encouraging people to continue to seek asylum here via people smugglers leaky boats is just dumb.

Yep.  They should be advocating the government gets involved in Indonesian processing.  NOT that people are allowed to come by boat via people smuggler

I think it will be a touch narrower, but you’re right. How these polls translate into individual seats will be the clincher.

The Libs are right to have a little faith here - a number of seats will go to the Libs.

The election will still be tight, but I’m predicting a majority vote to Labor.

If the Libs bring it home somehow, they will be more unpopular than the Gillard government.

Still, that never stopped Howard staying in  power for 11 years.

I would put money on the ALP getting the majority of votes the question is will it be in the seats that batter.
